A calm, distraction-free place to publish what you write — essays, poetry, fiction, letters, diary entries, arguments, half-formed thoughts. It's words only, on purpose: no images to hide behind, nothing to decorate the emptiness of a sentence that isn't working.

There's no algorithm. Pieces appear newest first — nothing is boosted, nothing is buried, and no machine decides who deserves to be read. Sign your work with your name, or post anonymously. Wrote it by hand? Scan the page and we'll turn it into text for you.

• No ads. No tracking. We don't sell your data, and we never train machine-learning models on your writing.
• No engagement games. No follower counts to chase, no infinite scroll built to keep you here longer than you meant to stay.
• No AI ghostwriting passed off as human. Inkwell is for the thoughts of a person. Writing that reads as machine-made gets marked, so readers always know.

Inkwell is a passion project, run lean and kept free. It isn't here to make money off you or your attention. If it ever needs help covering its costs, we'll ask openly and honestly — and it will stay ad-free, always.
