1. There is no such thing as a gap that is "technically big enough."
2. The man who volunteers to direct you is not your friend. He has contradictory interests.
3. Everyone within eyeline will watch. This is non-negotiable and must be accepted.
4. The moment you give up and pull forward again, another car will take the spot. This is a law of the universe.
5. There is something specifically humiliating about this particular failure in front of strangers, more than almost any other.
6. You can park fine in Lajpat Nagar and in Hauz Khas and even on that difficult stretch behind Select Citywalk. Something about Sarojini specifically undoes you.
7. This is not actually about parking.
