it's 4 pm, and the light, it's golden. it streams through the window, illuminating the dust particles, dancing in the air. i sit, mesmerized, watching the light, feeling its warmth. it's a time of day, i love, a time of day, i hate. the world, it's still, the only sound, the hum of the fan. i think of all the times, i've sat, in this light, feeling the same mix of emotions. the times, i've felt hopeful, the times, i've felt scared. the times, i've felt alone, the times, i've felt connected. and as i look, out the window, i see the world, in a different light. the trees, the birds, the people, they're all, bathed in this golden glow. and i realize, it's not just about the light, it's about the moment. it's about, being present, being still. the light, it's fleeting, it's ephemeral. and as i sit, in its warmth, i know, i'll hold onto it, i'll hold onto this moment. the dust particles, they're still dancing, the fan, it's still humming. and as i look, out the window, i feel, a sense of peace, a sense of connection. to the world, to myself, to the light.
